Hampton Inn Raleigh/Cary

I stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton this past weekend, and I want to start by highlighting the one bright spot Zora at the front desk. She was absolutely wonderful attentive to every detail, cheerful, and incredibly sweet. Honestly, I’d hire her myself if I could. Hilton is lucky to have her.||That said, the hotel itself was a major disappointment. It was dirty, the elevators were out of order, and the whole place felt more like a rundown motel than a Hilton branded property. While I was notified ahead of time about the elevator issue, it doesn’t excuse the overall poor condition of the hotel.||Whoever is managing this property clearly isn’t maintaining Hilton’s standards. It’s a shame, because with better leadership and care, this could be a decent place to stay.

This hotel is conveniently located next to Wake Med hospital where our baby spent 4 days in the nicu. We boarded 2 out of those 4 nights in the hospital and 2 nights at this hotel. The receptionist who checked us in was VERY kind hearted and helped us get a room asap. She was so understanding and caring about our situation. All the staff we encountered there were caring and treated us very well during our stay. They asked us for updates on our baby daily. We appreciated everyone of them. The staff there ALL deserve an updated hotel and recognition for their professionalism and hospitality. They are truly doing the best they can with what they have and treat people with care. The lady who made the complimentary breakfast also deserves to be recognized! She made delicious food and kept the area in immaculate condition. She also asked us about our baby and made us feel cared for. We are truly grateful to have been treated so well during our stay. Shoutout to everyone there and may God bless them ❤️

Stayed there a couple times recently for work. Wonderful Professional staff. A Nice fully stocked hot breakfast. Rooms were pretty much sound proof did not hear outside noise. Definitely will want to stay there again.

I had a great stay and I want to give credit where it’s due. The front desk team was consistently kind and helpful, housekeeping kept the room immaculate, and AGM Kionna was outstanding. You can tell this property is well run. I’d stay here again without hesitation. Plus, the location is super convenient with a lot of food options nearby.

The room and shower were comfortable and clean. The shower seat was helpful for use near the sink counter as well as in the shower. Breakfast offered a wide variety of hot and cold food and drink. The location was near the mall with many restaurant choices for dinner. The elevator was not working, but we were on the first floor.

Great stay at this hotel! While the property is a bit dated, it’s very well maintained and kept clean throughout. Walls are not good sound insulation and can somewhat hear neighbors talking or snoring. The staff were excellent—friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made the stay smooth and enjoyable. The continental breakfast was fresh and satisfying with plenty of options to start the day. The gym was clean, organized, and well maintained, making it easy to get a good workout in. The pool was out of season and empty during my visit, but the area looked nice and well cared for. Overall, a clean, comfortable, and efficiently run hotel with great service—I’d definitely stay here again.

This is normally my go to hotel while in The Raleigh area for work. The staff is very nice and friendly and willing to help. But like all hotels it is getting worn, and a little bit outdated although the rooms are clean they do need to be updated. The particular room I had this time, (room 309) the heating/ AC unit was very loud and I couldn’t turn it on at night because it would wake me up. I did not bring this to their attention because I could manage without it. On the third floor, where I was at this time. The first two nights there was an odor of pot coming from somewhere. I was not very happy with that. Normally I try to get the top floor, but there were no rooms available.
