Golden Green Hotel

I’ve gone to other bad hotels but this has to be the wildest and worst one of them all! I had booked 1 night stay and there was hair, and a leak in the ceiling etc. THE WORST SLEEP OF MY LIFE. I was trying to sleep when I heard a GIRL moaning and then a couple minutes later, a GUY moaning. Would NOT Recommend this Hotel!

I was there one night to see Daniel tosh perform at the place next door. This is one the worst places i have ever stayed in. No amount of cleaning can fix this place... at this point it needs a complete remodel. We're talking millions of dollars in construction work needs to be done to get this place up to standard. The parking garage is falling apart, ac was making this comically loud knocking noise and the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking water. Honestly, I'm not sure how they're legally able to stay open. They also charged me 96 bucks to stay here. Tosh was great though.

Checked in for the weekend after dealing with an issue on Greyhound they accommodated me and my service dog but when I went to go pay their weekly rate since my job rather me in the area they refused to allow me to book weekly on the basis of my service dog. On top of that the AC and my room was not working and one night there was no power due to a car hitting a power line and they did nothing to make up for that or the AC. There was water leaking out of a pipe right when you walk in the front door staff was overall pretty well except for the owner who is refusing to accommodate me and is discriminating

This is an OK place to rest over night. There has been some improvements since the last time visiting. The only thing I didn't like about my last visit, the heat did not work in the rooms. Although things, didn't work for me, the staff made sure that I had options. I decided to get the refund as one of the options. The staff was kind and caring. I look forward to my next visit. Had nothing to do with the Republican Convention.

The hotel was nothing like it was. When I looked at the photos I thought it was clean a nice but it was the complete opposite. The rooms smelled like cigarettes and the bathrooms had mold. A drunk man was in front of my door and didn't leave. We were stuck and it was scary. Security did nothing about it. If I could give this negative star I would. The mattress was dirty and dusty. Save your money, I don't recommend coming here.

If I could give negative stars I would. We stayed here under the photos looked nice and clean. This hotel was anything but. My party and I felt extremely unsafe. The entire hotel smelled of cigarettes, people were actively smoking pot and cigarettes in the hotel. There were cigarette burns in the blankets, the sink had cigarette burn marks, the bathtub was broken in spots with mold growing, lights did not work properly. Random people not staying at the hotel constantly waiting to get into the hotel without a key. Photos are EXTREMELY misleading. Do not stay here.

The staff is great and hospitable the rooms are clean and bug free, yea its a little vintage but that what makes it a great stay. My family and I was comfortable there. For the price you pay its worth the buck. Other note I have read some bad reviews about the place and was a little uneasy at first about reserving a room. Once I got there those feelings and thoughts completely left. We enjoyed some good fun in Charlotte and slept like babies. I must add on it was quiet day and night there as well. They also have a ghost story spooky or cool ? I found that quite interesting.... The Elvis Presley also rented out the entire 8th floor multiple times when he visited the city and those rooms are also available to the public, I know how cool is that!
