Actually stayed here awhile ago and after recommending this hotel to my in laws, realized I never left a review! I am from Charlotte but needed a hotel during renovations. I only stayed one night but loved my experience! Super affordable, new, and the rooms were huge. I like the Rea Farms area and found it easy to go for a. run directly from the hotel (a lot of sidewalks around). Also there are a lot of shops/restaurants nearby at Waverly. I didn't eat breakfast, but my husband did and he said it was good - standard continental breakfast stuff. Staff was very helpful!
Positive: Enjoyed the cozy feeling right from the start. The entire staff were very friendly as well helpful. Negative: Parking was a bit tight but manageable.
We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay at this hotel. The property is relatively new, and the room was well appointed - while we didn't have a suite/studio with a kitchenette, it was nice having a mini fridge and a microwave. The beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable, and overall the room felt clean and contemporary. We loved being able to charge our EV on site for free, and the free breakfast was exceptional for this price point - plenty of proteins and hot offerings. We especially enjoyed the surrounding Rea Farms development; it was easy to walk over to Harris Teeter to grab coffee from Starbucks. We will certainly consider this hotel for future stays.
Good price for the area, quiet, clean and well maintained, and free parking. The hotel is quiet with no street noise heard either time. I felt safe going to and from my car even late at night. It's near a number of restaurants and stores. We got the King Studio with Kitchen each time. The kitchen was well equipped with the essentials we needed for making a few meals. The corner couch is great for lounging. Room and hallways were clean and well-maintained. The bed was really comfy. Appreciated how the blackout curtain was installed on a track so light didn’t creep out the sides of it. Nice water pressure in the shower and shower head mounted high so people 6' plus can fit under it.
I had a HORRIBLE experience last night and it caused me to be so late to work this morning. There was a dog barking non stop for like about 2+ hours around 9:30ish at night. I called the front desk about it and they said they would try to reach out to the guest. I tried to go back to sleep but the dog was still barking. About maybe 45 minutes went by and I just could not rest with the dog barking, so I called the front desk and all they said was that they tried calling the guest and no one answered. It wasn't until I contacted Hotels.com customer service via chat when they were able to help because they called the front desk again; Shortly after that - I could hear when someone entered the room and the dog finally stopped barking.
Probably the best Hyatt I’ve ever stayed at. And I’ve been to many – both budget and luxury ones. Perfect combination of price and quality. Everything is new, modern, clean and in light, bright tones. Breakfast is good and included in the room rate. There’s free parking. The neighborhood is very pleasant and safe. Overall, a very positive experience.
I am writing to express my disappointment with recent stays at your establishment. As a globalist member, my wife and I have frequently chosen your hotel while she travels for work, and it has historically been one of our favorite places to stay in Charlotte. However, we've noticed a decline in quality with each visit, which is very disheartening. Specifically, we've encountered issues such as cold showers, lumpy beds, and a lack of attention to detail during cleaning. It feels as though small but significant issues are being overlooked or hidden. Furthermore, the responsiveness of the downstairs service has become a significant problem. On multiple occasions, I've had to call repeatedly for basic requests like extra towels or pillows, waiting hours without a response. There's no excuse for having to take a cold shower, especially given the amount of money we've spent here over time. We travel extensively, and it's truly sad to see what was once a preferred hotel go downhill. I hope you will address these concerns promptly.
