10 Clarke is a wonderful place to stay! It is truly a unique bed & breakfast that is cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. The decor in this old Victorian home is simply beautiful. Each room is well-appointed and full of beautiful furniture, but is not cluttered. There's a mix of traditional details with modern amenities, blended with refined style and a touch of elegance. Monique is so kind and thoughtful, and is always eager to take care of us and make our stay special every time. The breakfasts that Monique and her staff make are one of the most memorable features of our stay. These are exquisite 3-course meals made with only the best and healthiest ingredients Monique can find and they are delicious! We love the location of 10 Clarke, too. We can walk to the canal and the rest of downtown Frederick for great shopping and dining in any of the nearby restaurants. Visiting 10 Clarke has become a new annual tradition for us and we look forward to it every year. Make a reservation for a night, a weekend, or a longer stay. You won't be disappointed!|

10 Clarke is an absolute gem in the heart of Frederick. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The house itself is stunning—beautifully restored with so much charm and character, yet every modern comfort is thoughtfully included. Our room was cozy, spotless, and full of elegant touches that made it feel extra special. Our own private bathroom was located right down the hall. We had bed warmers and our sheets were pressed every morning. Breakfast was incredible—fresh, locally inspired, and plated like something from a magazine. Monique and Rachel went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even gave great recommendations for local restaurants, things to do, and even hair salons! Every evening around 4:30pm , fresh cookies were placed in the gathering room, & red and white wine was set out to enjoy! Turn on the fireplace and we could have sat there for hours! We left feeling relaxed, pampered, and already planning our return. We didn't want to leave! If you’re visiting Frederick, this is the place to stay!

My sister-in-law and I come to Frederick every December to kick off the Christmas season. We always stay at 10 Clarke in the Turret room. The house and all of the guest rooms are beautiful and immaculate. The owner, Monique, has literally thought of everything to make us feel cozy and at home. Homemade cookies when we arrive, complimentary wine, delicious local teas and coffee, a 3-course breakfast that is always fantastic! 2 downstairs fireplaces, heated bathroom floors, pressed linens on the beds, chocolate truffles at bedtime. Her personal touch is all over this wonderfully decorated house. The location could not be better. Located on a quiet street with plenty of street parking and within walking distance to the restaurants and shops in downtown Frederick. Thank you, Monique and staff. From the moment we arrived, Monique, Mallory, Rachel and Cosset were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The breakfast was wonderful. Great restaurants and shopping were within walking distance. It’s rare to find a place that combines such personal attention, comfort, and outstanding service. We can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay! Monique made accommodations for us even though she was hosting a wedding the weekend we wanted to stay. Our room was beautiful, Monique has clearly paid attention to so much detail from the bathrooms, the down comforter and cotton linens, to the beautifully prepared breakfast. Her home is a work of art that she is so happy to share! We are Frederick locals and could have easily gone home after our long night but this was the ONLY place in Frederick that could make us stay locally and have the most incredible breakfast!

Booked just for one night when travelling from Dulles to State College. Monique was a a great hostess making us feel very welcome. Room was lovely and everything was very clean. Breakfast was excellent - carefully sourced and wonderfully prepared. Opportunity to chat to other guests was also a pleasant change from staying in an impersonal hotel chain.

10 clarke is the dreamiest of dreamy places to stay! Having never been to Maryland, we were swept off our feet by how lovely and special our stay at 10 Clarke was. Monique is an excellent, warm and welcoming host - and truly makes the bnb feel like home. Breakfast is impeccable! The rooms/bathrooms were all perfect. The bnb is a short walk to all the downtown shops, restaurants and bars and perfect home base for exploring the charming city of Frederick. Highly recommend for an unforgettable stay!! We live in Sweden and can’t wait for the next time we come back to the US to go back to stay with Monique!
