Candlewood Suites Frederick by IHG

The rooms were clean, updated, quiet, and well-priced. Our room was spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. The sitting chair reclined. The bed was comfy. The people were friendly. Great water pressure. Would definitely stay there again 🙂

This hotel has been recently renovated. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The check-in person was very friendly. ||Unfortunately the pictures online are not of this hotel and are misleading. While clean, it is not as nice as what the pictures would have you believe, not even close.

Great hotel for the money, slightly further from the highways than the Marriott compound in town but worth the drive for the value. The rooms are very large, with a full kitchen including a cooktop. Our King room had a recliner as well. The bed was firm; the water pressure was great; the floors were clean hard surfaces so no mystery stains! On the other hand, the pool was out of order.

I have always loved IHG hotels as a member of the military. Came here on a trip of West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland on our way to DC. We were in Frederick visiting family. The price was good and it was the only IHG hotel close. Im not one for negative reviews, but it wasn't a great stay. It was OK. The suite was a decent size and it had a good look. However, the TV was spotty and a lot of channels didn't work. The bed was fine but moved easily if you pushed it in any way. The walls were recently painted as there were spots showing that were missed or painted lightly. All of this isn't a big deal. I dont expect perfection, but the service was so-so. Ive stayed at a lot of IHG hotels and I was honestly surprised by the lack of service. The person at the front desk wasn't a good communicator at all. When asked about the TV, he looked like he wasn't prepared to answer the question, or that he didn't want to talk at all. His pause immediately told me I couldn't rely on him for anything. Again, not a big deal, but disconcerting to say the least. Im glad I didn't have a real issue I needed help with. All together I would suggest the IHG in Brunswick/Harpers Ferry. Their service was amazing! We should have driven back there instead of staying in Frederick.

I'm staying here for 3 months for work. My stay for the past 3 weeks has been great!! My suite is like a miniature apartment with everything I need to be comfortable. The staff have all been very friendly, polite and professional.

Room nice and clean. Kitchenette well supplied. Great shower and soap, shampoo, conditioner. Free coffee. Very nice

Really nice place to stay. I'm gonna be here for a couple months. Never ate any of the food but having a single room setup with coffee pot, fridge and a kitchen is awesome.
