The Leonard At Logan House

I stayed at The Leonard at Logan House while in town for business, and it was such a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, the service was outstanding, and I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time. The rooms are unbelievably comfortable — I slept so well! The hosts were welcoming, kind, and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The food was outstanding, and I especially loved the snack area and the delicious home-cooked options available. I’m so glad I chose to stay here. It truly made my trip better, and I will definitely be back!

We loved our time at The Leonard on Logan. Here’s what we loved: The room we stayed in was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. It had a comfortable bed, an oversized chair good for reading and good lighting. The common spaces were well kept, comfortable, numerous and inviting. The area around was very interesting and fun to walk. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. We found Ken and Ruth to be friendly, helpful and available. And we’ve never had food like that before anywhere for breakfast. The food was elegant ,creative, and delicious.

Ken and Ruth are wonderful hosts. We were in town to visit friends and family, and our stay in the Grand Duke was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the original built-in closets and the thoughtful ways this historic home has preserved its charm. The food was truly five-star, and I sincerely hope Ruth creates a cookbook for us all someday. The location was perfect, close to so many things to see and do. Well done!

The Leonard on Logan is a lovely home in a convenient location to downtown Grand Rapids. We were warmly welcomed and given a short tour as we were shown to our room. Ken and Ruth are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had! A wonderful experience!

We have stayed in many hotels before and they always seem to have a sterile feel to them. Whereas our stay at the Leonard made us feel like we were truly at home and allowed us to relax like we hadn't before. We will absolutely choose to return here next time we're in Grand rapids and won't even look elsewhere.

We stayed in The Baron, deemed the smallest of the suites but tucked away for solitude. Perfect for sleeping + super comfy bed and pillows. We used the parlor and gorgeous garden when we wanted to hang out — plenty of space to carve out privacy if you want it. Friendly without being cloying. Quietly accommodating (without any fuss Ruth sweetly made alterations for my dietary needs) and the most delicious buffet you will get anywhere. The breakfast alone is worth staying for! If you have a sweet tooth, there are always homemade baked goods around for guests. Yes, the inn has history, but it’s the service and cuisine that is noteworthy. Not to mentions how wonderful the hosts are. I left an item behind and without a second thought it was sent to me. If you are considering an AirBnb or a stay at the inn, there is only one choice! Location is great — easy access to a lot and wonderful place to walk.

From the moment we walked in the door, We could feel the quality and hospitality of this establishment. The personalized greeting, communication, beautiful home and location are enough to book this stay! And then they go above and beyond with their always available snacks and homemade goodies and amazing breakfast offered the next morning. The accommodations were incredibly clean, beautiful and comfortable! And the added bonus of being within a short walk of great food and beautiful homes was a great surprise! Don’t miss out on this gem!
