Great hotel really close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and saw lots of the stars! 10 minute walk to nearest metro station for quick access to Universal and plenty of buses nearby as well to take you anywhere in LA. Hotel was clean, good facilities in room, only problem was 1 lift broken for most of the stay but that can happen, just meant waiting for the other one for longer to the higher floor where our room was. Pool area was very nice to have although could only use it briefly. Overall would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore Hollywood.

Great location. We stayed just one night. The hotel staff were nice. The beds were comfy enough, but not comfy enough for a multiple night stay. My main issue was the valet staff, who would not give me a ticket for my car, even after completing check in. He said "you can get one when you come back" as we were leaving. Which caused some confusion with the oncoming shift when being questioned on why I don’t have a ticket or the other part placed in my car yet. The confusion and continued conversation caused us a delay is getting back upstairs to get changed for our evening reservations. Easy check out. But disappointing being charged for handicapped / active duty military parking. Most CA laws do not enforce handicapped parking fees. Room provided a coffee maker, hotel staff provided us with K-cups. But the machine requires water, and there is no way of filling it with water without paying for each bottle. If coffee is complimentary, there should be a way to utilize it properly and free of charge if it’s complimentary. And yes, we could’ve used tap water. But most of those machines require filtered water for the longevity of the machine.

Stayed here for a couple nights. No huge issues. The room was clean. The bed was semi-comfy. The shower was nice and warm. I didn’t notice homeless people as other comments have mentioned. There were plenty of good food places within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were nice and helpful. The staff that works inside the TGIFridays inside the hotel were also nice and helpful. The only odd thing we noticed is it’s valet only for $55 a night, I believe. But the valet just parks your car a few feet from you, which you could just do yourself for free. When you come down to get your car, you can literally see it, but you have to wait for valet to go get it, even if it’s the parking spot you’re standing right next to. I’m sure there are reasons for it; it just felt odd. Overall, the stay was nice.

Good shuttle service - fast check in and nice room. The main issue was noise from the road which was so bad could hardly sleep - awake from 2am onwards. Would not stay here again solely for this reason.

My experience here was good and not too bad. The rooms were pretty small but still I enjoyed my stay here. I had a little hiccup in getting charged an extra amount for something that should’ve been free but understandable. Elevators were a huge disappointment. Only one working elevator and usually a very long wait often 10 minutes maybe even more in the morning. Other than that the TGI Fridays downstairs was not bad. It was very busy due to the World Series going on but honestly enjoyed my stay here. 3.9/5

[UPDATED REVIEW - Issue Resolved] I am updating my previous 1-star review to reflect how the hotel management actively handled my complaint. The Incident: During our stay (Room 501), our room was completely skipped for housekeeping on Feb 21st. When I reported this to the front desk the next morning, the lady working was extremely dismissive and rude. She offered zero apologies, blamed the third-party booking platform, and even fiercely snapped at me to "put it back" when I accidentally knocked over a key card on the counter. It was an incredibly frustrating start to our morning in LA. The Resolution: However, the General Manager, Riley Wood, reached out promptly after seeing my email and initial review. He took the matter very seriously, reviewed the lobby security footage, and assured me that the staff's unacceptable behavior was addressed internally. To make up for the lack of housekeeping and poor service, management also approved a refund for one night of our stay through Agoda. While the initial customer service from that specific front desk employee was completely unacceptable, I highly appreciate the General Manager's quick, fair, and professional response. It shows that they actually care about their guests' experiences. Good management makes a huge difference. Thank you for making it right.

My husband & I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles/Hollywood and overall had a great experience, especially because of the location. The hotel is very close to the heart of Downtown Hollywood, and it was the perfect spot for our trip. It only took about a 5–10 minute walk to get into the main downtown area, which felt very reasonable and convenient. Parking at the hotel is valet-only at $50 per night, so we decided it wasn’t worth renting a car. Instead, we used Uber/Lyft to get around, which worked out perfectly for us. Lime Scooters are in the area, so if we had a shorter distance, we'd just scoot there. The location was super convenient for sightseeing: * About a 5-minute drive to Universal Studios Hollywood * Around 10 minutes to Griffith Observatory * Roughly a 45-minute drive to Los Angeles International Airport It was also nice that TGI Fridays was attached to the hotel. Very convenient for a quick meal without having to go far. One thing to note: the front desk did warn us to be cautious walking back to the hotel after 11pm, which is just something to keep in mind when planning your evenings. We greatly appreciated that the staff said something. Had no issues on our trip. The hotel room itself was a bit smaller than we anticipated, but it was clean and served its purpose since we weren’t spending a ton of time in it. Overall, we would definitely stay here again for the convenience and prime location!
