This is my go-to when I am in NOLA. It's close to the places that I need to visit. It's always clean. It's quiet. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If I don't eat before arriving, I can get a couple of vegetarian options from the cafe. If you're looking for downtown NOLA, this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for quiet, this is a good place for you.

Marriott prides itself on its treatment of repeat, Elite customers. We are Platinum Elite with a multi-day stay but no one acknowledged our status upon check-in. When we arrived we also discovered there was no hot water due to a boiler problem. No one told us this on check-in. We had to inquire after trying to take a shower. The hotel gave us Bonvoy points for compensation but we had to ask; no one volunteered them to us. Even after the boiler was fixed, the hot water was never really hot. During our stay, the lobby smelled a little like sewage and they had open doors and a blower going so it made us wonder if there was some other problem with the infrastructure. We were provided with two tiny bars of soap in our room and had to ask for more. Only two of three elevators were working. Our bathtub had a dripping faucet and our TV had vertical lines on one side and probably needed attention. On a good note, the curtains certainly kept our room dark. We understand that Hurricane Ida may affected the area and the current pandemic could be affecting staffing. This is also an older facility. However, we have come to expect a better effort from Marriott.

Beautiful hotel with the best customer service. Ms. Amanda (front desk) and Ms. Tonya (Bistro) are the BEST!! They were accommodating and made my stay comfortable one. I will be staying here again when I visit New Orleans.

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years. This stay for Marco gas was completely dissatisfying. A cold front was here and I paid over 200$ for a room each night with no heater . The night audit lady who I called most of the night has the nastiest attitude towards people . She watches the phone ring once u make a complaint . Then said she doing her nightly audit while I’m in a room that’s 45degrees . No engineer came till 9am , for me to be told it wasn’t put in till 6:30 am .. Marriot ususally is my preferred stay . But after this incident . It won’t be . Besides that everyone is impeccable . I’m just truly disappointed in the way the night audit handle things especially with it being so calf outside . She has no remorse.

The people are great. Genuinely friendly and very competent. I had some issues with my reservation and they fixed it immediately and seamlessly. Only reason for the 4 star is the shower. Low pressure and it took a while for the water to get hot. Other than that, rooms are clean, AC works, and I was able to sleep uninterrupted.

Back in early October, was in town (albeit on the outskirts) of my native city to attend my twin cousins' retirement party at a venue across town. Driving up to the car port, a crowd of teens were deboarding a charter bus. Just a pack of teens in apparent sports gear-being teens. Getting to the lobby was like Oh Lord, checking in might take a while. But it actually did not and it was all good from there. The first impression and acknowledgment set the tone, courtesy of front desk agent, Renee, who embodied the hospitality one comes to know when visiting NOLA. With a friendly greeting, down to earth personality, she was helpful and executed professionalism that puts one at ease upon check in. The rooms were excellent too. The remodeling surely shows, as the rooms were an upgrade from our last stay here. We slept well and were very pleased with the condition of the rooms and the property overall really. Aside from that staff from the night auditor, evening maintenance and the AM person upon check-out were outstanding in delivering service. If not for an Airbnb or deciding to stay in the French Quarter, we definitely plan to be back during our next trip in town!

Location is great for reps that work the New Orleans territory. WiFi is strong 💪. The restaurant down stairs, there is a woman there I believe her name is Tonya she is the sweetest person I’ve met. She is the reason this restaurant got 5 stars from me. Remember little things makes a difference. Tonya makes a difference here. Also the gym has dumbbells and kettle bells .
