Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Naperville

Something is terribly wrong at this hotel. I have stayed here many times over the years and always had a good stay. They currently have no heat on the first floor. The breakfast and bar areas are hovering around 55 degrees. The staff is wearing multiple sweatshirts and some even are wearing winter coats. Two different employees told be that the heat has been out since November! One told me that they didn't have budget to fix the problem last year and hoped to fix it soon. She also told me that "they were a franchise, so they are not held to the same standard as a company owned Hilton locations." I left a message for the General Manager and he never returned my call. I contacted Hilton Corporate (a call center in Egypt) and they said someone would get back to me in 48 hours. In my opinion, the customer service and quality that made this hotel chain great has been cost cut out of the organization. Sad to see.

I’ve stayed at this location many times in the past and let’s just say my most recent stay was less than pleasant. Bathrooms had debris all over the floor which made it seem as if the room wasn’t cleaned. Dust hanging from the ceilings, shower head pressure was terrible. To top it off we ordered room service and the condiments were over 3 months old. For the price I’m disappointed.

We wanted to try this location out and it was ok. The rooms seem outdated and a need of an upgrade. The happy hour drinks is a good touch but seem a little stingy on whats offered for the price you pay for a room. ( well drinks/2 domestic drink choices) The continental breakfast was delicious and convenient. Very crowded during the time I went (9am) but still had a large variety.

Positive: Aesthetically the hotel was great. The floor plan of the room was good. Most of the staff was warm and welcoming. When my son vomited in the middle of the night, the housekeeping staff was wonderfully kind and helpful. The breakfast was great! Negative: The mattress of the pull out sofa was AWFUL. And the carpet in the door from the living room to the bedroom was nearly impossible to open or close (carpet too tall??).

I love this place for a staycation weekend! The rooms are spacious and clean. I only rate 4 because the furniture in the rooms is slightly worn/damaged. The service is PHENOMENAL and I highly recommend both the evening happy hour and morning breakfast. TOP NOTCH!!!! Will absolutely return.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The suite was large and comfortable, and I really appreciated how quiet it was—no door slamming or hallway noise, which made for a restful night. The staff downstairs were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel has a huge parking lot, which is always a plus. Breakfast was complimentary, and the omelets were definitely the best option—everything else was just average. The bedsheets seemed a bit old, though they were clean, and the room carpeting could use an update. The only real downside was that the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Overall, it was still a good experience, and I would stay here again.

The breakfast was good, great selection. The room was not so great. We checked in and found the carpet was not vacuumed and it was dusty. When we saw toe nails in the bathroom floor and on the carpet by the bed, we requested a new room. Our new room still had the previous guest’s leftover pizza in it and the carpet was also not vacuumed with other people trash. I do not recommend staying here if you want a clean room. The location itself is great. Safe, quiet corporate area and the nearby I-88 does not being a lot of noise. There are plenty of food options along with everything else you may need (grocery store, pharmacy, fast food, Amazon, Starbucks, train station)! Will not be staying again unfortunately .
