Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Chicago Naperville/Aurora

We were on a bike adventure on 10/13/25 coming S down the river from Elgin, and said, "why don't we dodge over to that Fairfield at Naperville we like so much?" It's just off the trail. Adam at the desk checked us in with a very pleasant and professional flair, including giving us a deal of a price and chatting us up a bit about his own biking. The rooms here are just great-- very clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. Great shower! There is a Cracker Barrel right across the parking lot where we promptly enjoyed a nice supper. There is no noise despite highways nearby, so we slept marvelously. Keep in mind... if you cheap out and stay at a hotel with poor or no breakfast, you have to spend most of the difference eating out. But this Fairfield has a full free breakfast with everything you could want. Ryan was running the front desk and checking the breakfast, doing a swell job. When we finally checked out, Emily was smiling and chatting with us like old friends. There have been some reviews saying the staff are rude, but our experience is the opposite. A positive interpersonal experience like we got from all the staff contributes to a nice memory that makes you want to come back.

We stayed here for an event in town with my daughter. We spent a lot of time coming and going. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and pleasant. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels and the shower was great. Breakfast in the morning had just the right variety. I would absolutely recommend this hotel or stay again myself.

I would like to feel better about this place. I am here because of house fire that condemned my home. Insurance picked here and i can't chose anywhere else. So, if i wanted to leave I'd be homeless. Most of the guest agents have been good. One night agent has been consistently unfriendly and acts like she doesn't help me. I asked a question couldn't answer and told me to come in the morning. I was fine asking in the morning. She was now go away. I decide to tell her customer service sucks. Shes i don't care and go away. So, I asked for the manager. She decides to call the police about a customer service complaint. I have to talk to three offers for a customer service. This night auditor treats like garbage and its makes feel very terrible about myself. I have no home without living here. so i'm stuck feeling garbage. I guess.

Front desk is extreamly rude. Whoever manages this hotel needs to be retrained!! Treat your guests better! Clean your hotel. There is a thing called a vacuum, buy one and use it! We would be more accepting of the filth if the customer service was better. Avoid this hotel!.. Sam do better!!

This hotel is close to the highway and many restaurants, the room had soft, comfortable beds, cable TV, and an impressive variety of foods for breakfast.

My husband, children, and I stayed one night here after returning from an international vacation. We were impressed by the friendliness of the front desk staff upon arrival. We felt welcomed! I appreciated having an apple available to snack on since we were jet lagged and didn't feel up to going out for dinner. The room was clean and the hotel appeared updated. We were only given two bath towels, which wasn't sufficient for four of us. I requested two additional bath towels through the app. Although the app indicated that my service request was complete, the towels were never delivered. Breakfast had options for all of us, but I was disappointed to discover a fairly large spot of mold on the bagel I was eating. Overall, we would likely stay here again with the hope that the small issues we experienced this time would be improved.

This was a nice enough hotel for our volleyball tournament weekend. Breakfast was good with good variety. However, they didn’t have plain bread for toast or labeling on the flavor of muffins. Our TV had some streaming problems at times which was annoying. Plus it has pictures of a pool but there is none. I would stay here again as it worked for our family.
