Sleep Inn Rockford I-90

The rooms looked spacious but they weren't. I saw they were cleaning the rooms but I don't think they clean them daily. I wish I would have brought my own towels. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was surprisingly good.

I booked this hotel a week in advance for a mid-week single night stay. First, they allow cancelations up to the day before, great. Second, this was $84 total, taxes and fees included. A great value, as the hotel is pretty decent. Check in was quick.and easy with a very friendly desk person. The room is clean and the bed was pretty comfortable, albeit a little on the firm/hard side. Breakfast was fresh and the hot items, bacon and eggs, were good. They also offered waffle maker and toast/English muffin/bagel selection. Again, very clean and well stocked. 2 cons were the vending machine was out of all but 2 beverage selections. Now, this isn't just the hotels fault, it's the vending company that maintains the stock. But, in my opinion, the hotel staff should be monitoring this to see if they need to ask the vending company to replenish more often. Othe than that, the shower leaked from under the door, leaving a huge puddle on the floor that took the bathmat and another bath towel to.mop up. No seal on the bottom.of the glass door leaving a 3/4 inch gap. Minor issues to say the least. I would still stay here again, as this is a great value for the money.

The young woman at the front desk with the pretty colorful hair was extremely friendly but professional and was always working. The hotel needs a little updating but they are in the process of doing that. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We love the shower pods and breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The entire place had a strong, unpleasant odor, and there was visible mold on the curtains. I asked for clean sheets, but housekeeping only remade the bed with the same ones, which was unacceptable. On top of that, the room felt completely outdated—nothing about it felt modern. In a time when most people have smart devices and USB-C chargers, this hotel still hasn’t caught up. Everything from the furniture to the amenities felt old and neglected. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and not worth the price. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

I don't like bathroom doors as a sliding door. The lock was also broken on the bathroom door. The shower has mold on the bottom of the glass. The room said it was 2 queen beds. I have a queen bed, I know it was only a full/ double bed. The price was reasonable and you have a good breakfast.

We stayed Friday night. Our room was filthy. The beds were hard. I guess staying above us or loud and noisy the entire night. Breakfast was cold and no flavor. I checked out a night early. I try to use choice hotels when I travel. I must say this is the worst experience I've had in my life. I checked out one night early. I would like a refund or credit for a free night state in the future elsewhere please.

The hotel was in a great location with a nice restaurant next door. The breakfast was plentiful, but my eggs were cold and the orange juice machine was only putting out water. The front desk person fixed it after I told him about it. The bed was comfortable. The employees were nice, but the hotel itself, though clean, is a bit weathered.
