Greeted in such a friendly way and made to feel at home. Love that. Our room is nice. It has what we need and semi decent view from the balcony. It isn’t amazing but good with a real comfy bed. We had pmenty of towels too which can sometimes be an issue places. The grounds are beautiful and nice to walk about safely. The hot tub is massive! A 30 person hot tub is crazy. We didn’t swim but the pool is beautiful too. The location worked great for us as we had a planned speed boat adventure about 15 minutes away and about the same to the seaport. Pickleball and tennis courts looked nice but we just didn’t have the time. We would definitely come back next time we are in San Diego. Free parking is like a unicorn around here so that was also a nice surprise.

Positive: The location was fantastic. Negative: On the last night of our stay we asked if we could get a parking pass for an extra vehicle. Despite there being plenty of parking available. We were advised we could parking the nearby public parking which was mostly a homeless encampment.

We loved the resort. It was well kept, and all the staff was very helpful and kind. The heated pool, and 33 person hot tub were also great. The pool area is protected so you stay warm even if the temperature is a little low. The towels were always plentiful. The pool bar wasn’t open, but I’m sure that was due to the season as we were there in late February. We had to go to the restaurant for to-go food and drinks. The rooms were nice. We were in the farthest building from the lobby (room 495) but had amazing water views overlooking a park. They do have golf cart shuttles you can request but we didn’t need to. The location was perfect as you can walk to Mission Beach, Belmont park, Starbucks, a great BBQ restaurant, gelato, a couple of shops, all within a 5-10 minute walk. The tennis courts were nice and they had racquets and balls you can use. The Airstream food truck was amazing. We ate there every morning, highly recommended. The rescue seals were fun to watch and they feed them 3 times a day which can be fun for the little ones to watch. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Our family stayed at the Bahia Resort Hotel for our family's first trip to San Diego, traveling all the way from WISCONSIN! We had an amazing experience, the resort central to everything Mission Beach. Resort was clean, had immaculate grounds ( The views are amazing), very relaxing, comfortable, and very family friendly! What Truly stood out was the wonderful hospitality received from all staff we encountered. Everyone was welcoming and kind, but a special thank you to Steven and Georgia🤩 (your amazing front desk staff) for going above and beyond to make sure our guest experience was beyond exceptional! We also want to recognize Brooklyn, Andre & Lily @ Bianchi's Pizza & Pasta. These team members were also so friendly, provided excellent service, were attentive, and made our family feel so comfortable. This was a special trip for us, and the Bahia Resort helped make it unforgettable. We absolutely recommend this resort and will be returning in the late spring!

We had a family trip for 5 days. We booked 3 rooms. We had a couple of issues but the staff quickly accommodated us. They have a text service where they answer your questions immediately. We would come back and stay here. The private beach is great for kids. Our grandkids loved playing in the sand and we didn’t have to worry about waves coming in. The location is great.

The location of this resort is the best! So close to many restaurants, shops, beaches, oceans, and various attractions! The front desk staff (I interacted with Georgia and Christopher several times) is top-notch! They truly care about the guests and that you have everything you need to be content. The resort has two restaurants on-site, and both have several delicious options. There are several amenities, including a pool, giant hot tub, fitness center, tennis courts, and a really unique walking path through a garden. Being right on the bay that includes miles and miles of running paths was the best way to start the morning. Although housekeeping could have been a bit more attentive and timely, the rooms were well equipped with all the necessities, including a TV, fridge, microwave, toaster, sink, and plenty of counter space.

We stayed at the Bahia Resort Hotel and rented two little house/condo-style units, and they were absolutely wonderful. We loved the patio garden area — it gave us space, privacy, and such a relaxing atmosphere. The resort was very clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. We really enjoyed the hot tub, the private beach, and how easy it was to walk to the "beach beach" for surfing and ocean activities. One of our favorite surprises was the sea lions that stay right at the hotel — we were there primarily for SeaWorld, and before it even opened, seeing the sea lions at the resort completely sealed the deal on how special this place is (literally 🦭). The Airstream breakfast spot was such a fun touch, and the gift shop came in clutch when I realized I’d forgotten a toothbrush. We even had Amazon packages delivered during our stay, and the staff helped us with that without any issues. Laundry service was also available, which was nice to have as an option. We had pizza at the on-site restaurant, enjoyed quiet evenings, and loved having plenty of space to relax. The front desk staff was always friendly and welcoming, and the open lobby was a great place to wait for Ubers or just sit and unwind. They even gave us helpful tips for visiting the USS Midway, which we really appreciated. This hotel was the perfect balance of peaceful, convenient, family-friendly, and well-run. We will absolutely be back — I wish more hotels were like this one.
