The Hotel Castro

I’m not exaggerating when I saw this is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The whole contactless thing feels easy and streamlined. The location was amazing. So close to tons of bars and even has a bar in the same building. The rooms were stylish and modern, but still quaint with character. Everything was really clean and comfortable and safe. I hope to stay here again and can’t recommend it enough. I hesitate to write this review only because I don’t want my new hidden gem to get discovered! Incredible experience.

We just stayed overnight but the place was really nice. Everything was clean and in good shape. The room is small but utilizes the space very well. The bathroom was beautiful. The room was on the main street but it still quiet. The room had a coffee maker and a few snacks. We did not utilize the rooftop deck but it is quite beautiful.

I live around the corner and needed a place to stay during a renovation project. Perfect location central to Castro and a lovely cozy room. The room was fresh and modern. The rooms are small, but efficient use of space. The hotel is nontraditional in that there's no reception, staff or routine housekeeping, so it feels like it's straddling the gap between a short-term-rental and a hotel. But striking the right balance.

Booked The King Suite. The room was cute and cozy and it had a small patio to sit out on. We loved the art work throughout the hotel too. Service was easy. It’s all on your phone including the check-in process, and the service was prompt. The location is AMAZING as we were bar hopping in The Castro so it was convenient to be able to walk back after drinking.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loved my stay at Hotel Castro! The location is perfect — close to great restaurants and nightlife. The virtual staff was easy to reach online and super helpful. I also appreciated the nice extra touches, like the complimentary gift in the room. Clean, stylish, and comfortable — I’d definitely stay here again!

This hotel is located in a safe, fun, and quiet location. They provide quality products and thoughtful design throughout. Check-in process was easy and clear. Highly recommend

The Hotel Castro has a fantastic location if your goal is to stay in the Castro. The rooms were comfortable and have everything you need. My only complaint is that the bed in our room was short and my 6’4 husband found it not to be long enough.
