The Inn at Union Square San Francisco

The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The location is super convenient — right near Union Square and easy to grab a cable car if you don’t feel like walking up the hills. The rooms were nice, clean, and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The building is very fun, the location is convenient for the downtown area, so much is within walking distance. We got a lot of help from Ossie at the front desk, who was amazing! Ossie helped us book an extra room last minute, held onto our bags after checkout, and spent lots of time answering our questions and helping guide us through our stay. Fantastic stay!

I had an incredible experience with wonderful customer service and a delightful stay at your hotel. I was greeted by the best hospitality and front desk service by your staff member. I was especially impressed by Mary Jane’s great attitude and willingness to help me check in. She greeted me with a very warm welcome and smile and was very polite and pleasant to interact with. I will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous experience during our stay at the Inn. So close to restaurants and supermarkets and many attractions. Antonio was super duper helpful and informative. So we’re all others , they went out of their way to help especially as I had a little toddler with me . Rooms were cleaned daily and so nicely everything was stocked . |I really loved the breakfast. There is enough options of items to get up full and satisfied. |So many pastries and coffee and tea selections and they had oat milk too . Pastries are restocked so no need to worry that it runs out . |We didn’t like the amount of homelessness around but that’s the case of downtown everywhere in the world . But using the robot taxis made it so much fun to travel to all tourist spots . Thank you Antonio .. U are a gem .. good job

A fabulous stay at this boutique hotel. Clean, quiet, friendly and helpful staff. From booking until checkout, staff were communicative. Continental breakfast provided fresh food and a good variety. |Great location to central shopping district, restaurants and close access to Cable car for 10 minute ride to Fisherman's Wharf, via Nob Hill and Chinatown.|Would highly recommend. Very clean rooms and comfortable bed. And quiet! Daily maid service if you need it. No need for a rental car. With the ideal location you are walking or short taxi cab distance from everything. You are surrounded by eating and drinking choices. I'll be staying here again.

Central hotel with incredibly lovely staff. Quiet street but there are some sketchy areas surrounding, especially at night. Avoid the park square a block away and tenderloin at night. The room has the essentials but no ac unless requested. Room was pretty hot even with the ceiling fan but we didn’t know we could request an ac unit. Would recommend doing so if you run hot. There was an issue with our room and we told staff and they were able to navigate with ease and provide us with a new room. Very wonderful that they upgraded us and we were appreciative. Not much natural light in our original room since it faced a brick wall but we weren’t there for a view. There is a bit of an older lingering smell in the hallways and elevator but the rooms smelled fine. Breakfast was more of pastries and cereal and tea/coffee. Not bad but could be elevated. Overall, it is a great budget hotel with lovely staff. We got it for a decent price but would not have paid more than we did in the future.
