Sleep Inn & Suites Tulsa Central I-44

I had the pleasure of staying here for three nights. It is family owned and operated who by the way were super friendly. The father is hilarious and very friendly. The rooms have 55 inch TV’s on the wall with cable. Mini fridge and microwave in every room. The mattress extremely comfortable! Some rooms have shower stalls while others have combination tub/shower. The shower stall is smaller space while the rooms are a good size with California King beds. Each room has its own little coffee maker with coffee and tea bags. A blow dryer is mounted on the wall in the bathroom, and there is an ironing board and iron in the closet. A complementary breakfast is hearty! Oatmeal, eggs, biscuits, sausage and gravy, potatoes, sausage, and you make your own waffles. Which was very delicious. Three different types of cereal, muffins, and toast. Variety of beverages, orange juice, apple juice, milk and coffee. And none of the bath towels were dingy! Over all I give this place a 10/10!

I have stayed at many Sleep Inns in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Texas. Including this one. Last time we stayed, after a major knee surgery, they put us on the 2nd floor and the elevator broke. I had to, with help go down the stairs. This time they put us on the first floor rm 112. Where the screen to the window had been taken off multiple times. The lock on the window didn't work, the heat lamp in the bathroom was gone. Hole in the ceiling but no light, the bed and pillows were terrible. The key entry system has been broke forever and when I went to get coffee at 5:30 am and come back. I rang the bell and nobody came to let me in. I had to call my fiancee and have him come let me in. The food is absolutely horrible and so is the coffee in the lobby. That was the last time we will ever stay at this location. No matter how much more it cost. Feeling safe in our room is important and I didn't feel safe at all. Also nobody working the front desk spoke good enough English to understand them. I'm not against anyone working but I should be able to understand them.

Positive: Excellent bed, sheets and blankets. Very comfortable. Negative: The hotel does not meet the standards of a US hotel for Sleep Inn and others in this category. The hotel was hot. The upkeep was spotty. The fridge was turned off. The microwave did not work. The front doors sometimes didn't open automatically.

The room is nice and clean. However it was loud and we were disturbed multiple times. Also, they have held my deposit the entire 10 days. This is a concerning. I have stayed at places that refund the deposit immediately at checkout. I am definitely unhappy and will not stay here again. I do business in Tulsa and my in laws live in Tulsa and this location will not get my business or the recommendation of my 5 adult children, their spouses, my in laws and my family.

Everything was fine except the lack of customer service and care from the folks running this hotel. I stayed here for 4 nights, and the breakfast was never stocked, and I never saw anyone working in the breakfast area. The front desk attendant would not give us extra towels unless housekeeping was working. I have never had an issue asking for extra towels in the evening except at this hotel. Maybe the folks running the hotel have never stayed at another hotel, but they need to step up their customer service and care for the people staying here.

Bathroom door broken off the hinges (if they cleaned well enough they would’ve seen the screws laying on the floor). Shower has no hot water. Hot tub doesn’t heat, pool was disgusting with things floating all in it & obviously hasn’t been clean in a while. Ice machine is broken. Asked to move rooms & was told because I "touched" things in my room they can’t give it to a different reservation so they can’t move us. I asked for maintenance to come fix our shower & door & they won’t call them until tomorrow after we check out. All in all would never book here again.

Positives Good location, beds were fine Negatives • Some mold-like markings on the wall around an outlet. • Cleanliness of linens was questionable - some marks on comforter • Found a CO2 canister on the floor near the bed (likely drug use) • Price was OK but a little high for the quality of the hotel
