The Ocean Key Resort

I know we went there in the offseason. It was forty degrees outside, the heated indoor pool was a little bit chilly, and the air is very drafty because of the design of the poor area being opened into the lobby. However, the hot tub was out of order for our whole stay. The ice machine on our floor was broken, nahda ahda huge deal.We just had to go upstairs to the next floor. Out of the 2 bathrooms in our room. Only one of them you could use the shower in the other one.You could only use the bath.Tub. the shower handle was about to fall off of the only functioning shower. There were also hairss on the floor of the shower before we even used it. They advertise having a game room.However, it was just a pool table. Most of the places we go to with our timeshare have some sort of an arcade or games for the kids. We were a little disappointed with our stay.

I had an amazing stay at this resort! From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and eager to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable — especially the bed! The amenities were excellent, and I really appreciated how well-maintained everything was. The restaurant had really good food options! The location was also perfect — close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing with the Ocean. The weather was amazing! Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a truly enjoyable stay. Positive: Location was excellent with regards to beach and restaurant access. Bed didn't hurt my back. Negative: The parking area is very tight, a large SUV or truck will have trouble. The halls are dirty. The room had the sofa bed pulled out which meant I had to put it away. Weird kitchen drawer layout.

A resort that is a bit tired. The pool and hot tub have seen better days. You need to get your own clean towels at the housekeeping room between 9am-4pm. The"amenities" room leave slot to be desired, basically a pay to play pool table and a TV with dvds. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 balcony suite. We had to call multiple times to maintenance. Toilet didn't flush, balcony door on bedroom was in such despair that it wouldn't open or close properly, so it went unused. The refrigerator was in front of the thermostat so no matter what we set it at, the heat from the refrigerator kept turning on the air. The location couldn't be beat, 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, stores. It is all the way down at the south end of the beach.

This company has ignored our cancellation requests for months, causing significant frustration. It is disheartening to be continually ignored by a company that has already caused us so much trouble. Our experience with this company has been entirely negative. Even when we were active members, the poor state of the facilities was a constant source of frustration; having a toolbox ready became an unfortunate necessity due to the run-down facilities. Maintenance fees consistently increase without any noticeable improvements. Over the years, serious health issues have severely limited our ability to travel. Therefore, we urgently need to cancel our timeshare membership. The thought of passing this down to our children makes us physically ill. Regrettably, we are struggling immensely to get any response from the company. We urge everyone to take into account how they are treating their members - it could save someone many headaches and empty pockets.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Where do I begin… First thing, don’t waste your hard earned money staying here. I booked my stay for 4 days, 3 nights. Upon checking in I requested a late check out and paid an additional $50 ($25 extra per hour past 11am). Not a problem, I found that reasonable. I was originally placed on the 7th floor. As I’m laying in the bed watching TV, I notice a roach crawling up the wall. I immediately called down to the front desk and was moved to the 8th floor. The room had no WiFi. The TV in both the living room and the bedroom didn’t work. We called down and maintenance came up and stated the building runs off of one modem and the WiFi is just being slow and give it 10-15 mins and it should come right back up. It never came back up. So we had no TV. The final day (today) at around 9am, I am in the living room, which is right next to the front door of the room, and in walks housekeeping. We make eye contact, I squeal and she closes the door quickly as I had no clothes on. Mind you, I paid for a late checkout. She didn’t knock, she didn’t say sorry, nothing. DO NOT STAY HERE. This was my second time staying here and I won’t be staying a third time. ROACHES IN THE ROOMS, WIFI DOESNT WORK AND HOUSEKEEPING IS THE WORST. Beware…

Positive: Other than a couple staff, NOT MUCH! Negative: 1. Staff was more interested in their phones, than their guest. 2. Not clean. I had to clean myself 3.TV"s not wrkng and staff just brushed it off as weather. 4.Couch was very worn out/hard and not even sitable. For the price, could use upgrading.
