The Oceanfront Inn

Great cost efficient, low amenity hotel! Everything was clean, no weird smells, perfect amount of space and amenities for a basic stay. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. I usually stay at chains but took a chance with Oceanfront Inn and I'm glad I did. Definitely recommend and will stay again!

Staff wonderful. Small maintenance issues addressed quickly. Housekeeping is extremely though. Bathroom scrubbed everyday. Pool decent sized and well maintained. All rooms have view and balcony. On boardwalk near Neptune. Would definitely stay again.

Visited this place for the first time the first weekend in February. It was really cold outside. The lobby was nice and warm with heat. The rooms heat did not work correctly. The response I got from the manager, says that due to the extreme cold the entire hotel was experiencing heating issues. However, I did not see that experience in the lobby, which was nice and cozy. The showerhead was disgusting. No one came to get our dirty towels and bring us any new towels. We had a 12 o’clock check out on the last day and housekeeping was knocking on our doors at 10 AM. Went to the manager when we checked out about issues and the manager says that we didn’t have to stay there. We tried to show them pictures of issues and the manager refused to see the pictures. I highly do not recommend this place. I will never stay at this hotel again. When we were taking a shower, the shower would turn from hot water to extreme cold water temperatures Fluctuate. You could hear everything from pipes, squeaking and popping and making noise. Our heater constantly made a noise the temp the thermostat was set to 72 in our room, but it was a lot colder than that. The heater was blowing out cold air. I do not recommend this place whatsoever.

The Oceanfront has been our go-to place on the beach for a number of years. It's central location, makes it ideal for us. Over the years we've found it to be a great value, always comfortable and clean--and if there's a problem, the fix it ASAP. |We also enjoy the pool. It's one of the better maintained pools in the hotels we use. It's deep enough and big enough to actually feel like you're swimming, not just getting wet.

The room was nice and a great location. We didn’t see anyone to clean our room until the 3rd day of our stay. The floors were very dirty the entire time. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. The toilet paper holder was pulled out of the wall in the one side. The electrical outlet was out of the wall. It felt very dated. The air conditioning was very loud. It could use a light and a screen for the door on the balcony. The pool was very cold and the area around it was not very clean. The sheets were not the best. There was a spot that was on them. The additional blankets were very old. The staff was very nice. Overall it was okay. We did enjoy our stay.

WHAT A JOKE this place is. Total cluster / cannot recommend. Booked 5th floor handicapped room w king sized bed / paid to reserve it. Got here, room not available 🤬 Switched to a 4th floor w handicapped facilities. Supposed to have 2 queen beds. GOT 2 double beds & semi handicapped facility. Shower was in jacuzzi-height tub / cannot get into it. AND! The transom to the balcony is so high, could not use it at all. Horrible service. Late check out was impossible cuz manager not available. Yuck. Just plain awful. Feel like we’ve been had.
