We went on a saturday night for an early valentines dinner. The atmosphere is very nice, and service is amazing. I really wish I could remember our servers name so I could praise her here. She Did an amazing job. Now onto the food, the shrimp cocktail, well its a shrimp cocktail nothing much to it. For the sides, we got the lobster mac and cheese ( it was good, but lacked a little flavor. ) now the Brussel sprouts and au gratin potatos were fantastic. Especially the potatoes, my wife cant stop talking about them. Now onto the steaks my wife got the 16 oz ribeye, and I got the 18 oz bone in new york strip. Both had the perfect cook of medium rare. My wife really liked her steak, but as for mine I was very disappointed in the lack of flavor it had. Almost like it had zero seasonings on it. I dont feel like it was worth the price. Onto cocktails, had a long island, it was pretty good, just a little on the small side. Overall, it was a good experience, but the food was lacking in some aspects and I dont think it was worth the $200+ price tag that came along with it.
Where to start…….. We came here for the FIRST TIME date night and I must say it was amazing the atmosphere actually made me feel like I’ve been there before. My service by Colin was amazing, he was very attentive and also informative on the menu and was part of the reason I felt as welcomed! The ELK was delicious my first experience and I must say the chef did his thing. I went with the peppercorn steak paired with the homemade garlic potatoes and asparagus "CHEFS KISS"! Can’t forget the lobster nachos amazing packed with flavor! This place should be able to receive 10 STARS I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We went for our first date night out in years. The staff was very young and a little silly but provided good service! The food was absolutely fantastic and they had an amber lager (not red oak) on draft that was incredible. I will be going back specifically for the tartar, my god! 🤩 Recommend the scallops and the lobster "chips" (fries!) and the duck.
I want to preface this review by saying that Earl's Landing does some things exceptionally well, BUT the food unfortunately is mediocre at best. I decided to try this restaurant for Valentine's Day this year, and although it wasn't the best food, decided to try it again to celebrate my 35th birthday over the weekend. The restaurant is decorated beautifully, and the waitstaff are always superb. Unfortunately, none of the food that we received to the table was hot. The crabcake appetizer had a great taste, but was overly salted. When I received my stuffed chicken entree, it was noticeably cold and under-salted. The desserts were average. I love this place for the ambiance, but the food falls short of a great experience. I asked all of the dinner participants about their food experience and everyone echoed my exact sentiments. I may try them one more time before deciding that it just isn't something I want to continue to waste money on as the food certainly isn't cheap.
This was our first visit to Earl’s Landing in High Point, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a fine-dining restaurant in this area. The food was cooked to perfection, and the service was excellent. There’s also plenty of parking, which makes the visit even more convenient. Highly recommended.
Excellent experience all around. Staff was friendly, nice atmosphere and food was fantastic. The charcuterie board had a nice selection. The filet melted in your mouth. Dessert and drinks were delicious.
The corner chowder and crab cakes were good. The steaks were prepared very nicely. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the steak on top of the mashed potatoes and smothered in sauce. There was too much sauce and I couldn't enjoy the potatoes. The place was also very loud and it was difficult to hear people at my table talk.
