Route 92 Sports Bar

This is a local spot. Great place to watch sports or enjoy a good drink. Friendly bartenders. Customers are very diverse. They have a pink pool table for everyone to enjoy. Great craft beer and whiskey choices. Customers are welcome to bring their own food.

I think this is the oldest bar in San Mateo and it is absolutely full of character. There are antiques in here that aren’t obvious, but you can’t stop looking around at all the things on the walls. What most impressed me was the bartender, Stan the man was full of interesting facts and mixed up some fantastic cocktails. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience here and will be back soon.

I haven't tried the food, but the vibe, the people watching and television viewing are damn good. The bartenders are good, and the place is really friendly. Not much bathroom space, but at least they aren't bad. On game days they have buffet food so that is a plus if you like that sort of thing.

No five stars on food because no kitchen. But you can order in or pick up from many nearby establishments. This is a fantastic joint. Reasonable prices, great local spot! The owner, Christina, is a gem. Perfect local atmosphere. Lots of sports programming available. Good jukebox. Go make a new friend! Or if you want tourist type stuff, maybe elsewhere.

Nice fresh draft beer! Much better than in Swinging Door! And service is just great, very welcoming and attentive:)

Awesome bar with a super welcoming dive bar feel. The owner was behind the bar and was a super nice woman. Great beer options on tap and I'm sure excellent vibes for a football game

Christina and her staff are top shelf. Pool table with the pink felt draws a great competitive atmosphere. 5 stars!
