The Brass Star Club

The girlfriend and I were looking for somewhere to spend a few hours, get a couple drinks, and play some pool. Came in around 11:30 AM. Only one other patron there on a Saturday at this hour, rest were bar staff. The staff made us feel more than welcome. Friendly, made us laugh, really put the whole experience together. Definitely going to be our go to bar. Edit after a few drinks and 5 games of pool: absolute best bar experience ive ever had.

Peanut and staff are awesome!!!! Went to this place for the first time for my sister in laws 50th. Could not have picked a better place. Love you Tara! Thanks Brass Star!

So i was in town from dallas visiting a friend who just moved here. We came in and the owner, peanut, immediately walked up to us and introduced himself and made us feel SO welcome, as if we lived here our whole life. The bartender, Lacy, was awesome and took great care of us as well. And to top it off, he left his brand new phone he just bought TODAY at the bar when we left. And they answered it, and were waiting outside with it for us when we went back to get it. You don't find good ppl like that too often these days and if im ever back in the area, I will most definitely be back. Thanks yall!

Thank you Mr. PEANUT we really enjoy and have a really good time and good music I'm from Houston passing by but we had a nice evening 😎 I recommend this place and enjoy it, people very nice too and thank you T ....a very attentive lady nice and helpful.

I do not like the bartender Catrina she is rude and likes to hit on all the young guys up there she needs to be fired

This is a great and diverse bar. I have gone there about 6 times now, and the patrons are always a friendly group of people. Their is always good music on (sometimes live). The drink prices are the best in town, and there is always a pool table available . The service at the bar is sometimes a little slow (It gets busy), but they are always very nice. Finally, the owner (who is only known as 'peanut') will make a point to come by, shake your hand, and welcome you to the bar. Absolutely a throwback to a neighborhood bar.
