Target
Target in Fremont, part of the leather bars category, offers a spacious shopping environment with a variety of departments. The store's layout can be challenging to navigate, but staff like Amina provide kind and helpful assistance. The store's cleanliness and maintenance, however, could use improvement, particularly in the bathrooms and entrances.
The electronic section may need more staffing to better assist customers, and the store's policy on gift card refunds is strict, but corporate customer service is accommodating. The pickup and return service requires more attention to detail to ensure accuracy. Overall, Target in Fremont offers a balanced shopping experience with areas for enhancement.

Really disappointed! Second trip different day bathroom looked the same! Get a real GC to align the doors so the lock, get a crew to not only clean the bathrooms hourly but also not allow the carts to hodge podge at the entrance and exit like they do. Do better! You're Target for goodness sake! I'm handicap so I literally had to ram carts just to get into the store because they are blocking the entrance and exit. Employees don't care. Not a single one asked to help me. They removed all the tables and seating from front so enjoy your popcorn, pizza, Starbucks somewhere else. I mean what the heck? So disappointed!!!!
Went in and saw that there were three Nintendo Switch2 boxes in the show case. I know they were just empty boxes for show but it's normal to assume they have in stock. There were no employee at the electronic section (around 10:45 AM), waited around 10 minutes and asked another employee if they can bring someone. After about another 20 minutes finally a person came (at this time there were 3 people waiting at the electronic section). I asked if they can get another employee to help us since we were all waiting close or more than 30 minutes. The employee said that he is the only one in charge of the electronic section at that moment. Finally after another 10 minutes, it was my turn and the employee told me that they don't have any Switch 2 in stock. I told the employee but please don't leave empty boxes and price of a product that you don't have in stock. I wasted 40+ minutes. Either leave a sign or take the boxes out. Also, I don't know what that employee was doing for more than 30 minutes leaving the electronic section empty when he was the only one responsible for the section.
⭐️⭐️ Two-Star Review My experience at this store was disappointing. I was in the baby section and used the call button to request assistance, but no one responded for nearly an hour. After waiting, I went to Customer Service to ask for help. Only then did staff begin to respond to my request. This delay should not happen, especially in an area where customers often need timely assistance. At the service desk, I explained the situation, but there was little effort to take action or properly delegate support on the floor. Better communication, faster response times, and stronger management would greatly improve customer service. I hope this feedback helps the store improve for future customers.
Wow. Someone tried to perpetrate fraud upon myself by pretending to be the CEO of the company I work at, knew my name, phone number, his name, the company, etc, and my BS detectors completely missed what was going on. They had me buy gift cards at this Target for a special project to reward company employees for a job well done. Anyway, I spotted what was going on before I gave the person the gift card numbers and code numbers so they'd be able to access the funds. So now I have a bunch of Target gift cards. Yeah, I could have actually used them over the next 6 - 8 months or so, but what the heck, I'll talk to Target to try and get my money back. The physical store said: No can do. Look at the receipt, it says right there: no refunds on gift cards. But ... the customer service person gave me a phone number to call, to talk to corporate customer service. Bam! I gave them all the details, the gift cards still showed their full value, and they did reimburse my Target charge card. I am impressed. Anyway, good store, good help, ... I *like* Target!!
Target is a big store with different departments and I was searching a product for 10-15 minutes, couldn’t figure out the aisles then asked for help; Amina helped find a that product. She was really kind and helpful. Thanks for the great service.
The pickup and return service at this Target store is very unprofessional. Please make sure to double-check that you receive the correct number of items or that the refund amount is accurate.
Hi Claudia, I understand you were pretty busy with your important manager meeting when I approached you. The reason I approached you was because I couldn't find a single other employee in the vicinity (and several other sections) to help me. I understand you had better things to do than check backstock on an item for me, and I would have happily waited for another employee had you called one over. Instead you told me you could check, scanned the item, while your coworkers walked away, then informed me that you would not check or bring out any items from the back. I have had employees decline to bring things from the back, and I try to be understanding because I know it takes a lot of time in the middle of a hard and thankless job. I would have much preferred you nicely saying no in the first place rather than saying yes in front of your friends, then telling me no in a tone that suggested I was nothing more than a major nuisance. If the question was "can you check backstock on this?" you clearly did not understand the meaning of saying "yes". I hope your subordinates know better than to do this, and I am sorry I apparently inconvenienced you enough for you to treat me that poorly.
