The Marquette Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

I visit downtown MPLS a couple of times a year for business, and have stayed at a few hotels in the area. I've had some good experiences, and some not so good ones. The Marquette was a good one.||The hotel is located within downtown skybridge network offering entrances from the 1st or 2nd floors of the IDS building or the street level, so offers convenience.||I had a spacious corner room on a high floor. The room offered good comfort. It had a nice sectional couch in the corner. The bed and pillows were comfy especially the pillows as they had some fluff/firmness to them. The temperature controls were easy to use and could provide a steady temp throughout the night.||The gym was a decent - a little better than your typical mid-range hotel.||I enjoyed my stay - and would be happy to stay here again during my next trip, especially when its cold and I dont have to venture out.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at The Marquette Hotel. The staff were welcoming from the moment I arrived, and check‑in was quick and smooth. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well‑appointed, with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel special. We also received a room upgrade to a deluxe corner room upon arrival |The amenities were excellent, especially the breakfast, which offered a great variety and fresh options each morning. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around without hassle. We really enjoyed walking the skyway system in downtown Minneapolis which provided access to several restaurants and shopping. We really liked the parking option at the ramp with in and out access.|Overall, this hotel delivered comfort, quality, and great service. I’d happily stay here again.

The hotel itself was beautiful. Enjoyed my room for the short time there. Super comfortable and clean bed. Television in an odd angle for viewing. Street noise comes right through the windows for light sleepers. Restaurant was nice, with view of the concourse. Difficult finding parking garage. Hotel can help, but there were less expensive parking lots a block away. Slightly less expensive paying for parking directly. Wish Hilton would have a hotel rate for those who park and those who don't so it is clear at booking versus a surprise charge.

We had our groom's dinner in the Joliet House restaurant with 40 people. It was fantastic. The space is so comfortable with various and fun places for people to gather. We weren't looking for a big formal sit down. We wanted people to mingle and get to know each other before the big day. And this space was so conducive to that. We could have had 30 more people and still been very comfortable. And the Top Golf like room attached was a blast for people to hang out and participate. The food was so wonderful. Can't say enough about the short ribs. Our bartender, Tina, had the best dirty martini's. Diana, the food hostess kept everything hot and fresh. It was such a pleasure working with everyone. I highly recommend looking into this space for a truly wonderful and unique venue for hosting a groom's dinner. Everyone was very accommodating to our needs. We were able to walk in, enjoy, and then leave to go home for a good night's rest before the big day!

This was one of the BEST hotels I’ve ever been! Big room with living room and bed room, claasy breakfast area, with nice food and staff. The architecture of the courtyard is wonderful. As an architect I enjoyed the view everyday! There was a friendly bar with cool bartenders. A pool table that my husband and I played, and nice valet service. I loved it.

Booked through AMEX portal as this was part of the fine hotels collection. I would reconsider AMEX on this one.|| Upon arrival @ 3:00 pm we were notified that our room was not ready, so had to go out for a couple of hours to kill time until the room was ready. |They never called me to notify me of my room being ready nor did they apologize.||I was notified by Hilton corporate that my room was ready as i was discussing the issue with customer service. ||The front desk girl who checked us in was not very helpful either or friendly.||The room is very nice but noticed hair on the bathroom floor upon arrival. Super comfortable bed and very nice view of city. ||Our toilet clogged and cleared up on its own but they never showed up to help!||The overall location is good and easy to walk to Target center and US Bank stadium.||the hotel brunch was good as well.||Overall a pretty poor experience, nice hotel but poor customer service.||Do not recommend||There are definitely better options

Nice location. Clean rooms. Big rooms. Relatively quiet. Poor parking but valet isn't bad. Friendly staff. Tatiana at the front desk "hooked me up" with an upgraded room. I don't usually get the upgrade even with status.
