I had a great stay at the AC Hotel in downtown Minneapolis. The property is exactly what you expect from the brand: clean, quiet, and very well-located. The Highlights: The front desk team was awesome. They were professional, welcoming, and made the check-in/out process seamless. The room itself was spotless, and despite being downtown, I found it to be very quiet, which made for a productive and restful trip. A Note on Room Temp: The only small downside was the in-room climate control. The thermostats seem to be set to an energy-saving mode that drops the temperature into the 60s when you aren't in the room. While the HVAC system is efficient and warms the space back up quickly once you return, it’s a bit of a shock to walk into a chilly room when it’s freezing outside. I was definitely hoping to walk into a "toasty" environment after being out in the Minneapolis cold. Summary: Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for a business or leisure stay. Just be prepared to wait a few minutes for the heat to kick in when you first get back to your room!
Wonderful experience staying two nights there . Staff is awesome as they go above and beyond to make you feel valued. The front desk staff is great. It’s a modern hotel with modern beautiful clean rooms.Their breakfast buffet is pretty good and reasonably priced. The hotel is located in downtown which is a big plus with a lot of parking space in the parking garage attached to the hotel. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, enjoyable stay then this particular hotel is for you. Would highly recommend this hotel. Lovely staff and beautiful hotel with modern amenities!! Thanks for the lovely experience!!!
We were a family of 6 in town for a game. All of our rooms were of the same standard--nothing super impressive, besides the dual-shower head. It was very clean, comfortable, and central to all of our needs while we were in the cities. The skywalk was a short walk from the hotel so we were able to take it pretty much all the way to the stadium. Parking is $40/day, but you can come and go as you please. There's also a convenience store just a few feet out of the front door. We drove in with our EV and there were charging stations on the first floor. The 3rd level parking link to the hotel was handy when we weren't on the 1st level charging. The toilet wasn't emptying properly our last night there and maintenance promptly came and took care of the problem. The toilet has a water-saving feature which is environmentally considerate. I never ate at the restaurant or drank at the bar so I can't speak on that. There's also a mini-mart by reception in case you forgot anything and the convenience store is closed. Last notes, the coffee maker is not by any outlets (at least in our room), so you'll have to move it to use it. And, there's an ATM on the 3rd floor.
$300 a night and no smart Tvs in the rooms? Only 2 treadmills work in the gym. Positives are the lounge and the breakfast buffet that's available. The service is great. The bar is nice but 8 dollars for ine beer? Id stay for the location. Close to everything.
Stayed a week ago, My car had not been starting a couple blocks down from the ac and I commute just over an hour to work in Minneapolis, I needed a place to stay and originally had a room at the embassy but told me I wouldn’t be able to stay and couldn’t make accommodations for my situation so they told me to try the AC, when I arrived the front desk clerk was very helpful and considerate, I didn’t get his name but I cannot thank him enough for helping me out and not telling me to go elsewhere. I really hope he gets some praise for it. The room was very nice for what I needed and I again can’t express how appreciative I am of the service
Hotel was ok. Bar staff was great. Christmas decor was fun and unexpected. Room was odd. Bathroom was not private at all. Sitting on the toilet you can be seen through the glass door. No privacy at all. Same with the shower. Fine if alone but traveling with someone else it sucks. Shower walls I. A see that but the toilet? No one wants to watch that. Is this prison? Also the lighting is too dim for the wife to get ready.
I wasnt a guest at the hotel, my daughter was. This review is based on my experience with the desk staff!!! My daughter was staying at this hotel for a work event, on her birthday, and I wanted to send her a little pick me up gift from a local Edible (Fruits and Deserts) location. The hotel not only accepted the delivery of fresh fruits/deserts, they made sure my daughter received it!!!! They not only made sure she received my delivery, a number of staff members signed their own card, wishing her a Happy Birthday, and gifted her a candy bar and water!!!! WOW!!! That is customer service. Thank you from Michigan!!!! If I find myself staying in MN, I will make sure I stay with the AC Hotel! My daughter said the room were clean, staff was friendly and was a great location for her activity.
