Floridays Resort Orlando

Positive: Everything! The rooms are spacious and has a split floor plan. It comes with a few kitchen amenities to cook for a small family if need be. The pool is always awesome for kids and adults (they have a bar with drink specials). The restaurant was good too. Negative: Plenty of parking, but if you dont get in there early before the parks close you may have to park in the overflow spaces which could be further from your building. Not a deal breaker at all!!

We loved having a full kitchen and a spacious living area. It was so nice to enjoy our morning coffee on the balcony before heading out for the day. It felt more like a luxury condo than a hotel. My husband and I just wrapped up a 5-day stay at Floridays Resort, and it was absolutely wonderful. We were looking for a place where we could truly unwind, and this resort delivered on every level.

This resort is about a 1.5 star. It may not be the absolute worst but in a city full of great options it misses the mark on the details. The buildings and rooms feel like poorly maintained shells with absolutely horrible WIFI. Loading a simple website or video was often a struggle. Our first floor unit was missing the rubber under the door so there was a 1/2 inch gap open to the elements. We requested maintenance upon check in but had no one follow up after a day. There are clear signs of prior water damage to the bathroom cabinets which were not replaced. The outlets look to be 20+ years old and several did not work or had the red light on from a breaker being tripped. The ones that did work barely charged a new phone. All the internal doors don't fit properly so they either stick and are loud or don't close well or lock. As others noted, the window shades almost always leave a gap, which on the first floor is pretty important. These details are extremely important when you have young kids. The best thing I could say is that check in was great and they were gracious in letting me cancel a day in and avoid charges for remaining days. If you need a shell with a decent bed, this may work for you. But if you are looking for a comfortable 3 star hotel, this just ain't it.

We were thoroughly impressed with our recent condominium stay. The property was exceptionally clean and offered a very spacious and comfortable environment. We particularly enjoyed the well-maintained amenities available for guest use. The pool area and hot tub provided a wonderful opportunity for relaxation. Furthermore, the staff we encountered were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our visit. It truly contributed to a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. We would gladly recommend this accommodation to others seeking a high-quality stay.

Beautiful resort and clean rooms, nice heated pool. All of the staff was wonderful, but Gabby from Palm Cafe was my favorite! She was always smiling and makes great coffee and food.

I almost changed our booking last minute based on some reviews. I'm so glad I didn't. From check in, Marylou was stunning, it was pleasant all the way up to check out. We're from South Africa and stayed for 11 nights in December as a family of 6, we chose the 3 bedroom unit. Indeed real value for money, space galore and all the staff were helpful.

Overall, had a great stay at Floridays but there were a few issues that could’ve been better. There was black mold around the shower which should be given some attention. The rooms were clean which I appreciated but could use a little love since they’re getting old. The staff was wonderful and the pool and other amenities were great. The main complaint is that we utilized the "free shuttle" to universal studios and reserved our spots on the shuttle, however the driver never showed up for pickup at 9 PM so we ended up having to call an uber. Not a major deal, but just inconvenient and mildly frustrating when you’re counting on it. I would recommend this hotel for families and anyone looking for rooms with great amenities. Maybe just plan to arrange your own transportation.
