Revolutions Bookshop

Let me tell you, this bookshop is so cool. It’s a small shop in the awesome north Portland neighborhood of St. Johns. And basically, if it’s not in there, you don’t need to read it. 😉 This place is a social justice haven. They have so many cool new and used books, paper ephemera, vinyl, and other cool stuff you didn’t even know you needed. They also buy and sell. They have kids books too. I was in there the other day and this little girl had her own little credit at the store and was so proud to be buying and selling books on her own. (parents were there too!) I think that’s really good for our kids. I could tell she felt good about herself. Brian, the owner is a great guy.. He is quite knowledgeable and knows his store! Sometimes I just go in to shoot the breeze. Definitely worth a visit.

I've only gone in twice since we moved to Saint Johns and Its definitely my favourite indie book store in Portland. The man is very helpful and knowledgeable about the topic I'm studying. The book he recommended has been exactly what I was looking for. Thank you guys!!

Best book shop there is. Well organized, helpful staff and low prices. You can also order a book and come pick it up later. I love this book store

such a cute bookstore! 📚 I stumbled upon it since I was in the St. John’s area and what a happy surprise! 😄 They sell both used and new books. There were carts of used books $5 and under in front of the store. 📖 The store had a great selection of books from a variety of genres and from new and popular books to old favorites! ✨ The worker seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be back! 🙂👍 Maybe I’ll buy a book next time instead of just browsing (I don’t have spending money atm) 😅

Love love love the books here...love the human working here...very helpful without being overbearing... Excellent selection of books...sigh...went for gift for others and bought also for myself... 📚📚📚📚📚📚

I love this store! It’s small but has a great selection of books! Also, they are happy to order anything they don’t have for you.
