Sanctuary Club

I love Sanctuary and attend events at least weekly. I only have one criticism: most of the time the music is just too loud. I wear earplugs almost every time I attend. It is sometimes loud enough to be painful and I am worried about your staff and regular patrons having permanent hearing damage, tinnitus at least. It creates an unsafe environment for scenes as well, as negotiations have to be nearly yelled, which creates a sense of urgency. Also, it just makes scenes less fun when I or my bottoms get overstimulated and have to end the scene early. That has happened many times. This is a kink club first and foremost: why is the music so loud that it interferes with the kink?I applaud the recent low-sensory night. That was SO good and I went out of my way to order more drinks at the bar to show my appreciation for hosting that event. I look forward to other low-sensory events like that. I wish game bang were quieter too, since it is hard to play games if I can't hear what people are saying. It seems like it used to be a quieter event, where the focus was on games... These last few times I've been have been more like people trying to play games at a dance club... Sanctuary isn't a dance club. Why is it trying to be? #pdxsanctuary @pdxsanctuary

Been really empty multiple times. I finally went on a busy night and waited 30 minutes in line only to he told i couldnt get in because I didnt have a button up even though I was wearing very nice clothes, and half the guys inside had t shirts on. Idk just been a 1/5 experience every time I’ve gone.

Had an amazing time at Sanctuary! 10/24 Lord or the ring theme was beautiful, mystical, and sparkly The dance floor was so much fun, and I loved the energy everyone brought. The bar had great drinks, which really added to the vibe. The sexy spankings in the back? A wild experience for sure! The lights were just right, creating those heart racing vibes all night long. I just want to say how safe I feel here. Last night the DJ was amazing and the screwdrivers were strong. Everyone was cool. As a chick, I am more on edge about pushy dudes at dance clubs. Sanctuary feels like a really safe place to explore. Not one negative experience. Thank you.

I truly adore this club. They have events multiple times per week and the themes are varied and inclusive. I suggest checking it out if your a kinkster or are curious. Come with an attitude of excited exploration! Observation is participation!

Main crowd is 20's-30's couples. It's a couples hangout to have public sex. But they have a dance floor and good mixed drinks. Single women are few. Trans people come in a group. It's not actually all free and sexy; just a place where some people bring a partner and do not engage with others. There are sex acts happening but it's weird to go over and watch and rude as well. So not even a voyeur place (not my vibe, regardless). There is no judgement and the place is clean and safe. Big positives But if you go there to meet someone it's more for single women and not middle aged and above men.

I’ve been hitting up Sanctuary for a few years now and it is by far the most welcoming sex positive club environment I have ever come across! The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff are responsive and truly have everyone’s best interests at heart.
