Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills

I have been to Sofitel serveral times and the rooms and facilities are excellent, and the staff is friendly and courteous. I was especially impressed with Enrique who is one the head valets and welcomed me back when I pulled in. It had been at least six months since the last time I was there and he recognized me. I do not know how many people he sees drive in in six months, but it was impressive that he remembered me as well as being very friendly.

I attended an event here on March 4th and 5th, everything was beautifully set up and executed, but I have to give a special shout out and thanks to Paige. She was helpful and gracious both days, but went above and beyond to find out if the lunch would be safe for my food allergies. I didn’t ask her to check, because I could see how busy she was, she took the initiative to do a kindness for a stranger… that is invaluable! Thank you Paige!

Everything was great, the rooms are clean, the staff is lovely, the gym is excellent, the restaurant has great food. My 9 rather than 10 is that although my shower head was cleaned it was still weak (for someone with a curly hair like mine washing my hair in such conditions is not fun). The other issue that I had but am not sure how it can be fixed is that the towels closet for the room service were adjacent to my door and I heard noise of the door opening and closing. Both these issues were minor compared to all the rest which was truly great and I plan to return to this hotel when back in LA.

There was wonderful security guard protecting us and hosting the entire night. He had everybody together and even told me that the rooms were phenomenal. I can’t believe it cause he definitely doesn’t look like he’s lying wonderful night so far beautiful hotel amazing times.

Loved our stay here in early January 2026. Had an amazing one bedroom suite with a lovely view, walk in wardrobe and bath. Enjoyed it so much we ended up staying for another three nights in a different room. Valet parking is expensive (even more than Hawaii), but the friendly efficient service from Wally and the team was fantastic. I hope to stay at the Sofitel BH when I’m back in LA.

Staff were wonderful, and I have no complaints there. However, the hotel feels very outdated for the price. Additionally, the pool was closed and this was not mentioned at the time of booking. The "hills view" upgrade was definitely not worth it. The window was very dirty, or there may have been a film on the glass that made the view look blurry. There also was not much of a hills view to begin with, especially for the price. The TV was also outdated with no option to stream, which felt disappointing given the cost of the stay.

Very cute spot. Not super luxe, but service was great for me and as long as you get what it is, it does the trick. Super clean. I have to dock it one star because the wifi is extremely slow. Have stayed here twice and issues both times. It does make it harder to stay when the internet doesn't work well. Otherwise, it's great!
