Super 8 by Wyndham Metairie

Hotel staff was rude. Shower area was dirty and the room had roaches. The area where breakfast is served smells like mildew.

Positive: Excellent staff support by hotel employee Negative: Average Breakfast , they claim continental but limited options Room had bugs, drainage issue in tub and stains on walls.

I rarely leave a negativereview This room was surface clean. However infested with bed bugs. I have been ate up from my forehead to my toes. My back and stomach full of bites. My feet there is no area that has not been bitten. The price paid should have been a flag. I am not from the area so I was thinking Metairie LA, I stayed before but this was a different spot. Lesson learned for sure. When I arrived, The Holy Spirit said dont stay. The cost for not listening to the God that knows all. Uncomfortable uncontrollable discomfort of itching and blisters from scratching. It was so bad, I ended up at Urgent care to get a steroid shot. And on steroids for a few days Missing 3 days of work. Being diabetic, my blood sugar is elevated because of steroids. And I've made multiple attempts to reach the establishment to make them aware,so that nobody else suffers. They hung on on me and now they dont answer my calls.

The desk person, Dip, was wonderfully helpful. He made check in a breeze and gave me everything they offered that I desired. I have booked for 4 days. The room was clean. The bathroom is spacious. And I look forward to swimming tomorrow. Thank you Dip....keep up the friendliest service in Metairie!

The bed was very comfortable. They did not have a little coffee pot like most places do but they did have a small refrigerator and microwave that worked very well. The ice machine in my floor (2nd floor) did not work but the one on the ground floor did. Minor inconvenience, nothing to really worry over unless you have problems navigating stairs. There was no elevator that I saw.

I've been a customer at this hotel for a long time, where I've paid for one, two, or three weeks straight without them providing a good breakfast or good service. And now that I'm coming with limited funds to pay for three days, they tell me they're going to charge me a $100 deposit, even though they've known me for a long time. That's ridiculous!

It's a decent room with a fridge and microwave, comfortable bed. But you will not be able to sleep. Constant noise campaign all throughout the nights. Very tired after leaving, zombies walking by where wanting trouble.
