Nordstrom Rack

This Nordstrom Rack in Fremont is one of the good ones I like in the Bay Area. I love shopping at Nordstrom Rack. But not all the Nordstrom Rack stores are the same. This store has better inventory and a good layout. The store is nice and clean. I usually can find a few items to purchase and am happy to bring them home.

Nice store. They added a lot more cosmetics products lately. I just feel that clothes sections are overcrowded. It is hard to see clothes unless you pushed through those racks with clothes hangers. I think it could be organised a better manner. Alternatively they could just get rid of half of the stock by selling it very cheap and the store will be more enjoyable then.

It used to look decent and even had an upscale vibe, but now the store feels more like a warehouse; it looks cluttered and disorganized, almost like a dumping ground for clothing and accessories. I also agree with another reviewer — I couldn’t try on any of the shoes because every pair was tied together. I normally buy multiple pairs whenever I visit, but I haven’t been able to during my last two trips. Good luck selling shoes this way, Nordstrom Rack. Whatever policy this is, it’s definitely not customer-friendly. Invest in better security measures if needed — consider cameras or guards — just don’t restrict customers from trying on shoes.

They have a new policy where each pair of shoes is bound together and when you put them on, you cannot move around so you end up hopping around just so you can see how you look in the mirror. However, you cannot tell whether the shoes is comfortable because you are not able to walk in them at all. I asked the cashier if they could remove the binding from the shoe and they did, but then they stood next to me and watched me while I try on the shoes because they said it was their policy that they could not leave me to try on the shoes. Other people had the exact same experience near me and just had a horrible time. I don’t know if this is a policy nationwide, but I will not be coming back if this is how Nordstrom Rack treats its customers.

Poor quality clothing that quickly falls apart, and yet everything is sold at a premium markup. Store is also disorganized. Overpriced given the poor quality clothing and lack of selection.

One of cleanest and most organized Nordstrom Rack. Parking lot is very well lit and feels extremely safe!

I love the location of this NR - because they are at the end of the plaza. The car/foot traffic is manageable in comparison to the other side where Costco is located. The shelves and clothes are organized. Very busy regardless of hours - am sure they have downtime too but be prepared for long lines. It moves a long but still snake around. They had 4 cash registers when I went and visited - around 7ish pm on weekends. Selections, depending on what you're looking for. But this store has a little bit of everything. I wish there was NR in my area. The closest one is Concord or Pleasanton I believe.
