The Porter Portland, Curio Collection by Hilton

My husband booked us a hotel here when we went to see the ‘nutcracker’ as a Christmas present. Great rooftop bar and walking distance to the theater. Really you can get to anywhere downtown from here. So, I would recommend using the valet.. cause night time can be scratchy. Kevin in the valet was great too! Always there with an umbrella, or opening my door. Great Trip!

The hotel was good and room was pretty clean. I had to pay 69 dollar valet fee to park my car, I didn't like the bathroom door. You could see through everything from the bathroom door. There was no extra mirror to do makeup. The lights were not that bright. There was no microwave. The fridge wasn't working and was leaking. The bed wasn't comfortable.

I love this place. Right from the get go you are greeted by a kind and helpful valet team that always treat me with care. Derrek and Mason never fail to deliver outstanding service when loading and unloading my cargo and have my car ready for me when I need it. Above and beyond is an understatement! Thank you!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful...from the curb to the desk, all the way up to the beautiful roof top bar. My room was clean and comfortable and I was amazed that finally a hotel who accommodates a woman's need for a magnifying and light up mirror. For this small benefit alone I was ready to give 5 stars. Unfortunately, I'm giving 4 stars only because of the food I chose to have from the restaurant. They had many choices but I chose simple chicken strips and fries from the kids menu. I do not recommend this and if you chose to order from the restaurant, you order something else. I expected a yummy chicken strip and I'm pretty sure I've eater better chicken from McDonalds. But again... there was many other things in the menu that might be better!! Aside from this small thing I strongly recommend this hotel because my experience was almost perfect!!!

I had a really good experience overall here. Hotel employees were very nice and room was very clean. Jake the valet guy was also great. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

We stay here every time we come to Portland. Great location, friendly service, clean location. My only complaint is the valet as they are a 3rd party company. They made up for it last time, however I’m staying there again tonight and hope they treat my car good. Updated review…called in zero heads up pool area was shut down. Priceline (not expedia) also said nothing about it. Other hotels available with open pool that my 2 daughters would have loved to swim at. Will never stay here again as they offer little in return for this inconvenience.

Went to The Porter for the night for business. I really enjoyed having a drink after a long day on their rooftop bar. The valet team and Jake were very helpful with directions and handled my car with care.
